A Good Faith Exam is a pre-authorization exam done by a Nurse Practitioner or Medical Director that medically clears you and ensures you are a good candidate for your upcoming treatment of choice. It is MANDATORY in the state of Ohio for ALL new clients. NuHealing is unable to service you without this being done.

This will be scheduled and completed during your first visit to ensure no delay in treatment. Visits are done via telehealth from your phone, and usually 10-min or less. It is valid for one year and has a one time fee of $45. Book your treatment appointment and NuHealing staff will take care of the rest during your visit. 

IV (intravenous) vitamin therapy and IM (intramuscular) shots represent distinct delivery methods for the same purpose. One is delivered immediately through the bloodstream via a vein (IV) while the other is through muscles (IM). They both provide direct hydration, vitamins, and minerals to your body, ensuring rapid and complete absorption by bypassing the digestive system.

Our nursing team consists of Registered Nurses with expertise in IV infusions and injections. Rest assured that you are in capable hands at NuHealing.

IV infusions and injections are ELECTIVE options for clients. Eligibility for IV/IM vitamin therapy is contingent on an individual health status, goals, and specific needs. We currently do not provide services to individuals under the age of 18 or those with conditions or diseases that are contraindicated. Some infusions may not be suitable due to pre-existing conditions / health history, like:

• Pregnancy
• Liver Failure 
• Renal Failure 
• Active Shortness of Breath
• Chronic Kidney Disease
• Cardiovascular Issues (CHF, Arrhythmias, Active Chest Pain, etc.) 
• Abnormal Swelling
• Certain Allergies
• Urinary Retention

The discomfort is typically minimal, with a brief pinch during IV/IM insertion. Our trained nursing staff strives to make the process as comfortable as possible. Clients may begin to notice the effects of an IV infusion or IM injection within a few hours to a few days, depending on the treatment and nutrients provided. While some individuals may feel the effects within 15 to 90 minutes after an IV infusion, others may experience results more gradually over a few days (often within 1-3 days after an IM injection).

Yes, it is safe. Our products are sourced from 503A and 503B FDA-approved pharmacies, regulated by a Physician for safe dosing, and administered by trained healthcare providers; Registered Nurses.

Although you may be anxious to receive a particular vitamin therapy (IV or IM) that sparked your interest, if you are not cleared as a qualified candidate, the service will be refused. 

Clearance is done by completing a thorough client history form, informed consent, vitals assessment, and Good Faith Exam by a licensed healthcare professional. Your health, safety, and wellbeing is our top priority at NuHealing. 

Unfortunately, at this time we do not accept insurance. However, we do offer financing and affordable payment plans through Cherry and Care Credit. We also accept HSA and FSA.
